Social Media Policy Statement
“On our Social Media platforms, we [Dundonald Presbyterian Church] will be careful in what content we share [or advertise] on our various platforms.”
“Recognising that there are many worthy causes, and therefore many good reasons to share a variety of content, we have decided to limit what can and cannot be shared/advertised.”
“We will of course use our social media platforms [as appropriate] to advertise what is taking place within our church and its various organisations and events. “
“In addition, we can [when appropriate] advertise the work of our selected Mission Partner Organisations [e.g. Open Doors, TearFund, Mission Africa And Feba], as well as joint projects (e.g. Dundonald Bible Ministries).”
“If our Church and/or Church Halls Complex are being hired/used for an event/organisation not run by us as a church, or one of our organisations, we will not advertise this event/organisation on our social media platforms, unless it is promoting the work of one of our Mission Partner Organisations, and it is deemed appropriate for us to advertise this event/organisation.”
